I'm partnered with a highly successful, mission-driven consumer products company that has quietly built a global presence over the last four decades. With operations spanning multiple countries, billions in annual revenue, and a deep commitment to health and wellness, this organization continues to experience significant growth and is investing in its legal team. The legal team is looking to bring on a strong legal professional with a background in transactional work to be the right hand person to the General Counsel and assist with a variety of legal work.
What You'll Do
- Advise senior leadership on privacy, litigation, compliance, and corporate legal matters
- Serve as a trusted business partner across multiple departments
- Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks across the organization
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
- Manage litigation strategy and outside counsel relationships
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with significant business impact
- Supervise one attorney and help drive legal department priorities
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of legal experience in a top law firm and/or in-house legal department
- Strong commercial contracting and general corporate experience
- Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal guidance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Privacy law experience preferred
- Technology, e-commerce, or regulatory compliance exposure is a plus
- Ability to relocate to Idaho Falls, ID and work onsite five days per week (relocation support available)
