Associate Attorney
A respected civil litigation defense firm is seeking a mid-level Employment Practices Liability Associate Attorney to join its team in Los Angeles, Irvine, or Walnut Creek. This hybrid opportunity offers hands-on litigation experience, direct client interaction, and a clear path for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage an EPLI caseload from inception through resolution
- Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and legal memoranda
- Conduct depositions, court appearances, and motion arguments
- Advise clients and provide strategic case updates
- Assist with settlement negotiations and trial preparation
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active California Bar membership in good standing
- 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in employment matters
- Strong writing, advocacy, and analytical skills
- California courtroom experience preferred
- Trial experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- $125,000-$175,000 DOE
- Hybrid schedule (3 days in office)
