Job Title: Senior Specialist - Trade Compliance
Location: Arlington, VA (On-Site), Rochester, NY (On-site)
Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Specialist in Trade Compliance to join our team. This role ensures compliance with U.S. and international trade regulations, supporting business operations and mitigating risk across global transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and apply U.S. export/import regulations (ITAR, EAR, OFAC) and other international trade laws.
- Prepare and submit export license applications, agreements, and related documentation.
- Advise internal stakeholders on classification, licensing, and trade compliance requirements.
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting for trade compliance activities.
- Support training initiatives and continuous improvement of compliance processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. export/import regulations (ITAR, EAR, OFAC).
- Experience with export licensing and compliance systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred:
- Professional certifications (e.g., CUSECO, CES).
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries.
