A nationally recognized real estate organization is seeking a skilled Senior Paralegal to join its Legal Services team. This role offers the opportunity to support litigation and legal operations related to eviction proceedings, breach of lease actions, and commercial landlord-tenant matters. The ideal candidate will bring substantial paralegal experience, strong lease analysis capabilities, and a proactive approach to resolving legal issues across departments.
The Senior Paralegal will be responsible for:
- Drafting and managing legal notices including defaults, demands, and terminations to enforce lease covenants.
- Conducting in-depth lease reviews involving relocation rights, co-tenancy, CAM language, and exclusive use clauses.
- Initiating and tracking unlawful detainer and breach of lease actions, including coordination with outside counsel and collection agencies.
- Responding to subpoenas and managing legal holds for litigation and e-discovery.
- Collaborating with internal departments to assess legal risk and resolve disputes across retail properties.
The Senior Paralegal should have these qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in real estate litigation, preferably in commercial landlord-tenant law.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and redlining tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Company Benefits/ Overview:
- Base salary range: $80,000 - $115,000, plus discretionary bonus potential.
