About the Opportunity
Our client, a respected national law firm, is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to join their New York team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced litigator who enjoys managing complex matters, advising sophisticated clients, and taking real ownership of their work.
In this role, you will support one major global client-a leading multinational company with a large nationwide operational footprint. Working closely with a single client allows you to develop deep institutional knowledge, build strong relationships, and provide consistent, strategic guidance. It also offers the type of exposure that many attorneys find to be a meaningful stepping stone toward future in‑house opportunities.
While the caseload includes matters related to transportation, logistics, and emerging industry issues, the firm encourages applications from attorneys with any strong litigation background.

What You'll Do
* Manage a varied litigation docket from inception to resolution
* Conduct research and provide clear, strategic legal analysis
* Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other complex litigation documents
* Take and defend depositions
* Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings
* Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively on behalf of clients
* Communicate directly with client stakeholders regarding strategy and case updates
* Collaborate with attorneys nationwide to deliver cohesive, high‑quality work
What We're Looking For
* J.D. from an accredited law school
* Admission to the New York Bar
* 8+ years of litigation experience (general liability, commercial, casualty, or related areas welcome)
* First‑chair or second‑chair experience strongly preferred
* Trial experience required
* Strong deposition and motion practice skills
* Excellent writing, communication, and analytical abilities
* Ability to manage a demanding and dynamic caseload independently
* Experience with transportation, logistics, regulatory matters, or large‑scale operations is a plus, but not required

Salary Range
$175,000 - $200,000 USD, depending on experience and other business considerations.
