About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 8 years of employment litigation experience, including significant work with EPLI matters. This is a fully remote, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work exclusively on EPLI cases while partnering with a nationally recognized legal team that supports a diverse portfolio of high‑profile clients.
This role is ideal for an attorney who brings strong litigation skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders. Candidates should be adept at independently managing a caseload, drafting quality work product, and navigating complex employment law issues.
There are multiple openings across several U.S. states, and successful candidates must be licensed to practice in their state of residence.

Role & Responsibilities
The Employment Litigation Attorney will play a key role in independently managing EPLI matters from initial claim through resolution. Responsibilities include:
Litigation & Case Management
- Handling EPLI matters as primary counsel across a range of employment-related claims
- Managing case strategy, discovery, depositions, motions, mediations, and settlement discussions
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings, briefs, position statements, and correspondence
- Conducting legal research and preparing high-quality written work product
- Advising clients and carriers on case exposure, strategy, and next steps
Client & Carrier Communication
- Serving as a primary point of contact for clients, claims professionals, and internal stakeholders
- Providing clear, timely, and strategic communication on case developments
- Building strong working relationships with insureds, brokers, and carriers
Strategic Advisory
- Evaluating complex fact patterns and delivering well‑reasoned, risk‑based recommendations
- Advising on employment law trends, case valuation, and claim prevention strategies
Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborating with other attorneys to align on best practices and litigation strategy
- Mentoring junior attorneys as needed
- Contributing to internal knowledge-sharing, training, and legal updates
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in the state of residence (must match one of the eligible states)
- 8+ years of employment litigation experience, preferably with EPLI exposure
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases independently
- Exceptional client communication and relationship‑building skills
- Strong analytical abilities and sound professional judgment
- Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment
- A commitment to professionalism, responsiveness, and high‑quality legal work

Compensation
For candidates residing in California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington, the expected salary range is:
$150,000 - $240,000 annually
Compensation will be determined based on factors such as:

This position also includes eligibility for performance‑based bonuses.
