Senior Compliance Officer - Banking (m/w/d)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate strategic financial crime and AML-related projects across the organisation.
- Drive the design, implementation, and enhancement of client-focused AML and onboarding processes.
- Act as a central point of coordination between Compliance, Business, Operations, and IT stakeholders.
- Conduct business analyses and prepare management information, reporting, and decision-making materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and customer experience within regulatory processes.
- Support the delivery of sustainable solutions in a complex and evolving regulatory landscape.
- Contribute to broader transformation initiatives impacting client lifecycle management and financial crime controls.
Your Profile
- Experience within Compliance, Financial Crime, Regulatory Change, Client Onboarding, Business Transformation, or Project Management within financial services.
- University degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of AML, KYC, Financial Crime, Regulatory Compliance, or related topics.
- Project management qualifications or experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across business and control functions.
- Fluent German and English.
