This role is Hybrid 2 days per week. This role is also open to NYC, Salt Lake City, and Denver.
We are currently partnered with a Public SaaS company that is seeking a Senior Commercial Counsel to assist with a wide variety of legal matters, mainly commercial transactions, privacy regulations, and corporate compliance. Reporting to a senior attorney, this position will give you the opportunity to hone your craft as a skilled drafter and negotiator of contracts, while still getting some exposure to other areas of law.
The Senior Counsel responsibilities include:
- Handling a high volume of both outbound and inbound sales transactions (SaaS, licensing, partnership, etc.) (80% outbound, 20% inbound)
- Working closely with security and data privacy teams on all privacy related matters
The Senior Counsel requirements include:
- The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience at a law firm or in house legal department at a technology company (SaaS focused)
- MUST HAVE 1+ years of outbound SaaS experience
- JD from a top law school
- Open to being in office on a hybrid schedule
