Job Summary

A growing in-house legal team is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex information effectively. This individual will work closely with legal team members and cross-functional stakeholders-including engineering, product, and business units-to support a wide range of litigation and administrative proceedings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting all phases of litigation, including investigation, research, discovery, pretrial, and trial preparation
  • Managing, organizing, and maintaining litigation-related files and documentation
  • Conducting legal research using case law tools and docket platforms
  • Partnering with outside counsel on document collection, review, and production processes
  • Tracking case deadlines and maintaining litigation calendars
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets to monitor records, data, and case progress
  • Coordinating with external counsel, witnesses, and expert parties
  • Assisting with legal spend tracking and managing case budgets

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree (paralegal certification preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting attorneys, including at least 1 year in an in-house setting
  • Familiarity with patent litigation and administrative proceedings is a plus
  • Experience with e-discovery platforms and managing discovery workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize large, complex datasets
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated accountability and commitment to high-quality work

Preferred Experience

  • Litigation paralegal experience, with a focus on e-discovery and IP litigation
  • Hands-on experience with e-discovery tools (e.g., Relativity, DISCO, Everlaw, or similar platforms)
  • Experience developing search strategies, working with vendors, and guiding document review workflows
  • Experience drafting and managing litigation holds
  • Experience preparing document productions and privilege logs
  • Ability to review/edit pleadings and summarize depositions
  • Strong experience with federal court calendaring and case management
  • Background supporting large, complex litigation matters in a law firm or corporate legal department
