Legal Counsel
We are partnered with a Global Biopharmaceutical Company dedicated to developing and commercializing innovative therapies for patients with rare medical needs. They have an established portfolio of commercialized products and other clinical trials in their pipeline nearing commercialization. Given their legacy products and multiple anticipated launches, they are looking to hire an experienced Legal Counsel. Reporting to the General Counsel, this is a role that provides considerable room for growth and the opportunity to support multiple legal areas.
Responsibilities:
- Advise Executive team on strategic decision-making objectives to mitigate legal risks
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including licensing, collaboration, supply chain, vendor and manufacturing, marketing and sponsorship agreements
- Ensuring company operations are in compliance with state and federal laws, including but not limited to HIPAA, GDPR, Anti-Kickback Statue, False Claims Act, FDA, and other rules and regulations impacting the pharmaceutical industry
- Support and advise on special projects relation to HR matters, regulatory compliance, securities law, intellectual property, and litigation
Requirements:
- JD from accredited law school; 5-10 years of relevant legal experience
- Life Sciences Industry is a plus
- Strong background in litigation, Intellectual Property or Regulatory, preferably at an AmLaw100 law firm
- Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
