A nationally recognized Am Law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 4-6 years of experience to join its San Francisco or Los Angeles office in a hybrid setting. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within one of the country's leading L&E practice groups-repeatedly ranked by Chambers USA and recognized by BTI for excellence in both complex and general employment litigation. Key Responsibilities
- Defend employers in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and complex disputes.
- Handle wage & hour matters, including class actions and representative actions.
- Contribute to large-scale litigation teams across offices, including strategy development, motion practice, and case management.
- Draft high‑quality legal memoranda, briefs, discovery responses, and case strategy documents.
- Collaborate with partners and associates across offices in a highly team‑oriented environment.
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Admission to the California Bar.
- 4-6 years of substantive employment litigation defense experience.
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Experience with wage & hour, class action, and/or complex employment litigation.
- Ability to work effectively across different offices and collaborate within a national team.
