My client is a leading digital financial services provider and we are recruiting for a Junior Legal Counsel to be based in the Singapore office. You will be given the opportunity to support the business on all legal related matters in the region, and work closely with stakeholders in the market. We are looking for candidates who are looking to scale their career in a leading name in the industry.
Responsibilities for this Legal Counsel, Leading Financial Services Provider
- Negotiate and draft legal documents across general procurement contracts, liaisng with service provider, vendors third party, etc.
- Providing full legal support and rendering legal advice and handling of legal agreements in respect of a broad spectrum of matters
- Manage the trademark portfolio
- Advise on technology contracts, product launches, and regulatory compliance in fintech and data privacy
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, as well as regulatory bodies on legal and compliance issues
Requirements for this Legal Counsel, Leading Financial Services Provider
- Qualified lawyer with 4-7 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in tech, fintech, or IP law
- Strong understanding of trademark law, IP portfolio management, and IT contracts
- Experience advising on digital products, data privacy, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
