Description:
- Manage and maintain the company's IP docketing system, ensuring accuracy and timely entry of deadlines related to U.S. and international patent filings.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and outside counsel to monitor and track patent prosecution deadlines, annuities, and formalities.
- Prepare and file USPTO and international patent documents (e.g., IDSs, assignments, powers of attorney, and other formal documents).
- Support IP due diligence, audits, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining IP files, records, and documentation to ensure compliance with corporate and legal standards.
Requirements
- 4+ years of patent paralegal experience, with a strong focus on **IP docketing** in a law firm or in-house setting (pharma or biotech preferred).
- Proficiency with patent docketing systems such as CPI, Anaqua, or Foundation IP.
- Familiarity with USPTO and international patent office procedures and databases (e.g., PAIR, EPO, WIPO).
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
