Location: Los Angeles (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 remote)
We are partnered with a fast-growing global leader in make-on-demand e-commerce that is looking for an In-house counsel to join its executive leadership team. With a presence in more than 15 countries, this company manages a portfolio of websites and mobile applications used by tens of millions of customers around the world to transform their best memories into unique personalized products. This is a pivotal role for a strategic legal leader who thrives in complexity and wants to make a real impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire legal function, including in-house team and outside counsel.
- Advise senior leadership on strategy and risk across a global business.
- Oversee compliance in privacy, employment, consumer protection, and advertising.
- Drive M&A activity, intellectual property strategy, and litigation management.
- Negotiate and draft key commercial agreements.
What You Bring:
- J.D. and bar membership (California preferred).
- 15+ years of legal experience, including 5+ years in-house.
- Expertise in IP licensing, M&A, and commercial transactions.
- Exceptional judgement, communication, and leadership skills.
