General Litigation Associate
We are currently partnering with a respected and growing law firm seeking a General Litigation Associate to join its expanding team. This opportunity is open nationwide, provided candidates are based in, or willing to work from, locations where the firm maintains an office.
This role will focus primarily on insurance defense matters, offering a well-rounded litigation practice and exposure to a variety of complex cases.
General Litigation Associate Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Handle all aspects of discovery, including depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
- Develop case strategies and work closely with senior attorneys and clients
- Provide high-quality legal analysis and writing across multiple practice areas
Practice Areas Include:
- General Liability
- Premises Liability
- Medical Malpractice
- Construction Defect
- Transportation / Auto Liability
- Additional civil litigation matters as needed
General Litigation Associate Qualifications:
- 2+ years of litigation experience, ideally within insurance defense or related practice areas
- Active license to practice law in the jurisdiction of employment
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Experience handling cases independently or with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
