Job Title: General Liability Associate
Salary: $115,000 - $175,000 + annual bonus
Location: White Plains (Hybrid)
Our client, one of the nation's most recognized defense litigation firms, is seeking a General Liability Associate to join their White Plains, NY office. With close to 50 years in the industry, they have grown their client base to include 44 offices with over 1,200 attorneys. With ample room to grow and have autonomy over your own cases, this is a great opportunity for an Associate seeking to gain hands on skills in the industry.
Responsibilities
1. Handle depositions and regular court appearances
2. Manage a steady caseload including general liability, transportation liability, insurance defense, and construction cases.
3. Communicate directly with clients, providing timely updates.
Qualifications:
1. JD from an ABA approved school
2. Admitted to practice in New York State
3. 3+ years of experience in defense litigation
4. Exposure to construction matters including general liability, premise liability NYS Labor Law 240, 241, & 200, or insurance defense
5. Experience appearing in court for OSHA matters is preferred, but not required
6. Open to a hybrid schedule working out of the firm's White Plains, NY Office
