Deputy General Counsel
A leading provider of post-acute and long-term care services in the Louisville area is seeking an experienced Deputy General Counsel to support the General Counsel on regulatory, compliance, and risk management matters. This second-chair role is ideal for a healthcare attorney with deep experience advising on operational, litigation, and regulatory issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise on HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, Medicaid, and licensing matters
Support risk management, internal investigations, and litigation strategy
Oversee outside counsel and regulatory responses
Partner with compliance and operations teams to ensure regulatory alignment
Qualifications:
JD and active license to practice law
10+ years of healthcare legal experience, ideally in long-term or post-acute care
Background in regulatory compliance, healthcare litigation, and privacy
This is a high-visibility legal role supporting executive leadership across a multi-state care delivery network.
