A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Associate with at least 1 year of litigation experience to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced litigators on sophisticated business disputes while developing strong courtroom, writing, and advocacy skills in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a broad range of business litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal filings.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
- Manage written discovery, document review, and discovery responses.
- Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
- Work directly with clients and partners on high-stakes litigation matters.
- Collaborate with litigation teams while taking ownership of substantive assignments.
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Admission to the California Bar.
- At least 1 year of business litigation experience.
- Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Demonstrated commitment to client service and professional development.
