A leading international law firm is seeking a talented mid-level Associate to join its growing Projects team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with at least 3 years' PQE to work on a broad range of high-profile infrastructure, projects and government contracting matters across the UK and internationally. The role offers exposure to complex transactions, contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory advisory work, and public sector projects spanning sectors including energy, transport, defence, utilities, digital infrastructure and social infrastructure.
Working closely with recognised partners and an established international projects practice, you will advise a diverse client base that includes government bodies, public sector organisations, contractors, suppliers, lenders and financial institutions.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in advising on:
- Major infrastructure and projects transactions
- Government contracts and public sector commercial arrangements
- PPP/PFI and long-term concession agreements
- Procurement and regulatory matters
- Contract drafting, negotiation and risk management
- Public law and subsidy control considerations
- Cross-border projects and international infrastructure mandates

About You
You are likely to have:
- 3+ years' post-qualification experience gained within a projects, procurement, government contracts or public law team
- Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts
- Exposure to major projects or infrastructure matters
- An understanding of public procurement and broader public sector regulatory frameworks
- Strong technical ability and commercial awareness
- A genuine interest in government contracting and regulated sectors
- A collaborative approach and desire to work within an international environment
- An interest in business development and practice growth
Candidates from private practice, in-house legal teams or government legal departments will be considered, provided they have relevant experience in projects, procurement, public law or government contracting matters.
