Privacy Compliance Analyst
We are currently partnered with a leading Healthcare Technology organization focused on transforming healthcare for long-term and post acute care across North America. This organization is known for its commitment to value-based care and digital transformation to enhance patient care.
Our client is looking to bring on a Privacy Compliance Analyst to their team on a remote basis. This person will sit on the company's Legal and Compliance team and report to the Privacy Officer. The ideal candidate for this position will have 2-4 years of experience in the Healthcare Technology industry and a deep understanding of global privacy and compliance laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development, consolidation, and maintenance of privacy policies and training materials.
- Identify and document privacy risks, gaps, and exceptions.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on company operations.
- Collaborate with product, clinical, and cloud teams to ensure privacy-by-design and data retention alignment.
- Assist with privacy impact assessments, audits (e.g., HITRUST, SOC 2), and incident response.
- Evaluate third-party vendors for privacy compliance.
- Respond to data requests and support legal/regulatory committees.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare privacy laws.
- Experience in policy development, compliance monitoring, and project management.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM).
- Familiarity with Canadian privacy laws (e.g., PIPEDA, PHIPA).
- Experience in SaaS or health information exchange environments.
