An AM Law 200 firm is actively seeking either a Litigation Associate or an Employment Litigation Associate to join its Seattle office. These roles offer the opportunity to work on complex litigation or employment matters for a diverse client base. The firm is known for its collaborative culture, national platform, and commitment to professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Litigation Associate (3-5 years of experience)
- Represent clients in commercial litigation matters across state and federal courts.
- Manage all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions.
- Collaborate with partners and clients on case strategy and execution.
- Employment Litigation Associate (4-6 years of experience)
- Defend employers in single-plaintiff and class action employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage-and-hour claims.
- Handle class action and PAGA matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft workplace policies and conduct employee trainings.
- Provide day-to-day employment law counseling to corporate clients.
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Admission to the Washington State Bar.
- 3-6 years of relevant litigation or employment litigation experience, depending on role.
- Strong writing, communication, and research skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple matters.
