General Liability Associate Attorney
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on litigation experience, work on complex defense matters, and grow their career within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
- Appear at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings
- Develop litigation strategies and evaluate risk in partnership with clients and senior attorneys
- Maintain regular client communication and provide case updates and recommendations
- Collaborate on matters involving general liability, premises liability, transportation, personal injury, construction, and insurance-related claims
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Texas bar admission
- 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in defense litigation
- Experience handling general liability, personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, transportation, or products liability matters preferred
- Strong analytical, research, writing, and advocacy skills
