We are currently partnering with a leading global bank that has continued to expand its U.S. presence and is looking to add a senior lending attorney to its growing legal team.
The Director, Lending Counsel will work closely with the bank's lending business across a sophisticated range of financing transactions, including syndicated and secured lending, trade and commodities finance, receivables financings, and letters of credit.
This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative global platform where you can take on meaningful responsibility, work directly with senior stakeholders, and have an immediate impact while maintaining a strong work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on syndicated and secured lending transactions across multiple market sectors.
  • Provide legal guidance on trade and commodities finance, receivables financings, letters of credit, and other complex lending products.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, corporate, and operational agreements.
  • Partner closely with business teams, senior management, and outside counsel.
Requirements:
  • JD from a top-tier law school.
  • 6+ years of finance experience at a leading law firm and/or in-house with a financial institution or leading Bank.
  • Strong experience across complex lending and financing transactions.
  • Knowledge of bank regulatory matters and banking-related laws and regulations.
