Overview:
A Singapore-based company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Officer to join its newly established Hong Kong entity, which has recently obtained a Money Service Operator (MSO) license. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining a robust compliance framework, with a particular focus on anti-money laundering (AML) and digital asset-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and Compliance Officer (CO) for the Hong Kong entity.
  • Design, implement, and maintain the AML/CFT framework in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and oversee compliance policies and procedures tailored to the MSO business and digital asset operations.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting and communication.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure ongoing monitoring of business activities.
  • Provide compliance training and guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory developments in Hong Kong and Singapore, particularly in relation to digital assets and financial services.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in compliance roles within financial services, preferably with exposure to MSO or digital asset businesses.
  • Strong understanding of Hong Kong AML/CFT regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and build compliance infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, AICP) are a plus.
