Our client, a respected law firm with a strong commercial real estate practice, seeks a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their team. This position offers the best of both worlds: high-quality transactional real estate work and no mandatory billable hour target, giving attorneys the freedom to focus on excellent client service without pressure to meet annual quotas.
Real Estate Associate Attorney Key Responsibilities:
The Associate Attorney will support partners and clients in all aspects of commercial real estate, including:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, easements, declarations, and related agreements..
- Assisting with acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, and leasing across asset classes (office, retail, industrial, multifamily, mixed‑use).
- Guiding clients from term sheet through closing and providing business‑minded legal advice.
- Collaborating with partners and supporting smooth deal execution with minimal oversight when appropriate.
Real Estate Associate Attorney Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active bar license in the relevant state (multiple locations available) (or ability to obtain).
- 4-7+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage portions of deals independently.
- Team‑oriented mindset and a proactive approach to client service.
