Associate Corporate Counsel
An industry‑leading Professional Services company is hiring a Commercial Counsel to support contracting, CLM infrastructure, and regulatory/compliance matters. This is a rare opportunity to join a 100% employee‑owned organization, and report directly to the Chief Legal Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and support business objectives.
- Provide practical legal guidance on contract terms, regulatory requirements, and policy considerations for internal teams.
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes, conduct targeted research, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Support compliance efforts by identifying risks, recommending improvements, and helping update internal policies and procedures.
- Assist the CLO with contract matters, regulatory inquiries, and coordination of legal projects requiring cross‑department collaboration.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree
- 3+ years commercial and regulatory/compliance experience
- Experience using Westlaw and Lexis
- Corporate experience strongly preferred
