We are partnering with a SaaS company that is a market leader in compensation data. Since 1999, this company has helped employees and organizations get paid right through market-leading compensation data and their platform serves over 10,000+ companies.
The team is looking for a Vice President, Legal to serve as a key strategic partner to the business, with a strong focus on supporting a high-growth SaaS sales organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of high-volume SaaS commercial agreements (MSAs, NDAs, subscription agreements, DPAs)
- Partner closely with Sales and Executive leadership to drive deals forward while managing risk
- Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice across the organization
- Oversee data privacy, IP, and regulatory compliance matters (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, SCCs)
- Develop and improve contracting processes, policies, and internal training
- Manage external counsel on litigation, IP, and specialized matters
Qualifications/Qualities
- 7-10 years of experience in-house or at a law firm, focused on SaaS/technology transactions
- Strong expertise in commercial contracting and negotiation
- Familiarity with global data privacy frameworks
- Admitted to practice in Massachusetts
- Highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
