Seeking a Litigation Associate with 3-8 years of experience to join its growing litigation practice. This attorney will have the opportunity to take ownership of complex matters, work directly with clients, and gain substantial courtroom experience in both state and federal courts throughout Indiana.

This role is ideal for a motivated litigator who enjoys handling sophisticated disputes, collaborating with experienced attorneys, and building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and assist with a broad range of litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation-related documents.
  • Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
  • Develop case strategy and provide practical, business-oriented legal counsel to clients.
  • Perform legal research and prepare briefs for state and federal court proceedings.
  • Work closely with clients, experts, and opposing counsel throughout all stages of litigation.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and help cultivate new and existing client relationships.

Qualifications

  • 3-8 years of litigation experience, preferably representing defendants in civil litigation matters.
  • Experience appearing in Indiana state and/or federal courts.
  • Strong understanding of Indiana Trial Rules, local court rules, and litigation procedures.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and case management skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional excellence and continued development.
  • Interest in client development and the ability to help grow and maintain business relationships.
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active Indiana Bar admission in good standing.
