Litigation Associate - Product Liability & Class Action
Location: Atlanta, GA
Salary: $315,000-$345,000 + full benefits
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate to join its expanding product liability and class action defense team in Atlanta. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex, high-profile litigation involving major corporations, manufacturers, and insurers across a wide range of industries, including automotive, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, and industrial equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of litigation, including legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Support a collaborative team on product liability, mass tort, and class action matters involving significant financial and reputational exposure.
- Participate in strategy development, client communications, and court appearances at both the state and federal level.
- Work closely with internal teams, outside counsel, and expert witnesses to build strong, evidence-based defenses and deliver exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of litigation experience; product liability or class action experience strongly preferred.
- JD from an accredited law school; top 20% of class from a first-tier institution preferred.
- Licensed to practice in Georgia and in good standing.
- Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
