Labor and Employment Attorney Responsibilities:
- Counsel clients on a wide variety of labor and employment matters, including workplace policies, compliance, and risk mitigation
- Handle employment litigation matters, including:
- Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims
- Wage and hour disputes
- Wrongful termination cases
- Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
- Participate in depositions, hearings, and case strategy development
- Partner closely with senior attorneys and clients to deliver practical, business-focused solutions
Labor and Employment Attorney Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school (required)
- 2-4 years of labor & employment experience (law firm preferred)
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Experience handling employment litigation or counseling matters
- Ability to manage multiple matters and communicate effectively with clients
