Hiring: Staff Attorney - eDiscovery (Fully Remote, U.S.)

My client, an AmLaw 100 law firm nationally recognized for its product liability and mass tort litigation, is seeking an experienced Attorney with eDiscovery experience to support its litigation practice. This role offers 100% remote flexibility anywhere in the United States (with optional in-office or hybrid arrangements if preferred). The ideal candidate has strong eDiscovery skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex projects and deadlines while collaborating smoothly in a fast-paced firm environment. Our client offers market-aligned compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Litigation & eDiscovery Support: Work closely with trial teams in defending personal injury, consumer health products, and other consumer goods cases, including large MDLs, class actions, and mass torts.
  • eDiscovery Workflow Management: Oversee end-to-end ESI workflows - from identification and preservation through collection, processing, review, and production of electronically stored information.
  • Document Review & Analysis: Conduct first- and second-level document reviews for relevance, responsiveness, privilege, and key issues; perform privilege and confidentiality analysis, and assist in producing responsive documents.
  • Advanced Review Techniques: Utilize search queries, analytics, and TAR (technology-assisted review) to streamline large-scale reviews; help develop and execute efficient review strategies with case teams.
  • Discovery Responses & Logs: Prepare draft responses to discovery requests (e.g., requests for production), assist with privilege logs, manage redactions, and address confidentiality challenges.
  • Deposition & Trial Prep: Identify and organize key documents for depositions and trial; compile fact summaries, case chronologies, and analytical reports to inform motions, hearings, and overall trial strategy.
Qualifications:
  • Education & Bar: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission in good standing.
  • Experience: 2+ years of litigation experience with a focus on eDiscovery, litigation support, or complex litigation. Background in product liability, mass tort, or personal injury defense is preferred (experience in medical malpractice or commercial litigation will also be considered).
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with leading eDiscovery platforms (Relativity, Everlaw, DISCO, or similar); familiarity with TAR, analytics tools, or data visualization in document review is a plus.
  • Skills & Abilities: Excellent project management and organizational skills; meticulous attention to detail in high-volume document reviews. Effective communicator with a proactive, collaborative mindset, strong sense of ownership and accountability. Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Work Arrangement & Benefits:
This Staff Attorney - eDiscovery role can be fully remote from any U.S. location (with support for hybrid or in-office work if desired). Our client provides a comprehensive benefits package (including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and paid time off). Please note: Because this is a full-time position.
