A leading AmLaw 100 employment law firm is seeking a talented Labor & Employment Associate to join its New York office. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside nationally recognized practitioners in a collaborative, high-performing, and flexible hybrid environment.
About the Role
This position is ideal for an experienced attorney looking to deepen their practice within a sophisticated employment law platform. You will play a key role in handling complex employment disputes and advising clients on a broad range of workplace matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a wide range of employment litigation matters in federal and state courts
- Advise clients on workplace issues, including compliance and risk management strategies
- Handle matters involving restrictive covenants, including non-compete and non-solicitation disputes
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements and executive compensation arrangements
- Partner closely with senior attorneys and clients on high-impact, strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of relevant labor & employment experience at a law firm
- Strong background in employment litigation
- Experience with restrictive covenant disputes and executive compensation matters is highly valued
- Excellent academic credentials and strong written/verbal communication skills
- Active admission to the New York Bar (required)
