A leading national law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate (4-7 years) to join its New York office. This opportunity offers a mix of sophisticated litigation and day-to-day employment counseling for employers across a variety of industries.
Responsibilities:
Handle employment litigation matters, including:
Discrimination and retaliation claims
Whistleblower matters
Wage & hour disputes
Trade secret and restrictive covenant litigation
Draft motions, pleadings, and briefs
Manage discovery, depositions, and case strategy
Advise clients on employment law compliance and workplace issues
Partner with HR and business leaders on risk management and workforce matters
Qualifications:
4-7 years of labor & employment experience
Strong employment litigation background
Experience with client counseling and compliance matters
Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
Active New York Bar membership required
Compensation:
Salary range: $295,000 - $370,000, depending on experience
