Our client, a well known international law firm, is looking to hire a mid-level Associate to join its Intellectual Property practice in London.
About the Team
The IP team is regularly ranked as band 1 in leading legal directories and is among the largest in London. The team handles a full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious IP matters, including patents, trade marks, copyright, and data privacy. Clients include both emerging innovators and established global enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
Advise on a wide range of IP matters, with a primary focus on patent litigation in the life sciences sector.
Provide high-quality litigation services.
Support the growth and development of the IP practice.
Candidate Profile
Strong academic credentials, ideally including a STEM degree.
Completion of the Oxford Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice is advantageous.
Proven experience in complex life sciences patent litigation before the High Court.
Collaborative mindset with experience mentoring junior team members.
Additional Skills
Adaptability to work across various IP litigation matters and jurisdictions.
Strong matter management and teamwork capabilities.
Client-focused with clear and practical communication skills.
