A leading law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 3-4 years of experience to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse mix of employment litigation, counseling, and transactions, supporting sophisticated clients in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Represent employers in a wide range of employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims.
* Manage all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
* Advise clients on employment policies, compliance, and risk management issues.
* Support employment-related transactional work and provide strategic guidance on workplace matters.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to complex, high-stakes matters.
Key Qualifications
* J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
* Admission to the California Bar.
* 3-4 years of experience in employment litigation and counseling, with some transactional exposure preferred.
* Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and client-facing abilities.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and think strategically.
