Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney
A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate to join its team. This role is ideal for an attorney with at least 3 years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions, particularly with a strong background in lending and finance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent lenders and borrowers in connection with commercial real estate financings, including acquisition, construction, and bridge loans
- Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents, including credit agreements, promissory notes, security agreements, and related closing documents
- Conduct and manage due diligence, including title and survey review, zoning analysis, and coordination with third parties
- Support all aspects of deal execution from initial structuring through closing
- Advise clients on real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and development matters as needed
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active bar license in good standing
- 3+ years of commercial real estate experience at a law firm
- Demonstrated experience handling lending transactions on behalf of lenders and/or borrowers
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills across real estate and finance documents
- Experience managing multiple deals and working in a fast-paced transactional environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients
