Clinical Contract Specialist

A leading Academic Medical Center in New York City is seeking a Clinical Contract Specialist to join its Supply Chain Management and Legal teams. In this role, you will support the contracting process for clinical, IT, and non-clinical corporate services. The specialist will review, draft, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including equipment purchases, leases, product placements, service agreements, and professional services contracts.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with legal, compliance, risk, and sourcing teams to ensure contracts meet institutional standards. Responsibilities include redlining contracts, managing contract lifecycles, coordinating stakeholder input, and ensuring timely execution of agreements. The role requires strong attention to detail, legal acumen, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree and five or more years of relevant experience, with at least three years focused on contract drafting and negotiation. Knowledge of contract law, including indemnification, warranties, and confidentiality, is essential. Preferred candidates are proactive, organized, and comfortable working across diverse business units.
