A leading international law firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage & Litigation Attorney to join its growing California practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex insurance coverage and commercial litigation matters, advising sophisticated insurer clients while developing a strong mix of advisory and litigation skills within a collaborative, global platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze insurance policies and provide coverage advice and opinions to insurer clients.
* Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda in coverage litigation matters.
* Conduct legal research and apply findings to complex insurance disputes.
* Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and client strategy discussions.
* Manage matters proactively, including deadlines, client communication, and overall case strategy.
Key Qualifications
* J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
* Admission to the California Bar (or eligibility for experienced candidates).
* Experience in insurance coverage and/or coverage litigation, or a strong commercial litigation background with interest in coverage work.
* Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.
