The Opportunity

The team is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney (m/f/d) to join their legal department in Stuart, Florida. This role provides exposure to a wide range of legal matters across renewable energy development, commercial contracting, regulatory issues, and project support. Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams to support a variety of legal research and writing initiatives.
  • Draft and review commercial agreements, including NDAs, consulting agreements, leases, and purchase and sale agreements.
  • Research complex regulatory issues related to renewable energy development and permitting.
  • Prepare legal materials to support negotiations related to land acquisition, power sales, interconnection, equipment, and financing agreements.
  • Manage and support the collection, organization, and filing of project documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver reports to management as required.
  • Perform additional legal duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of relevant professional legal experience.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse and complex workload.
  • Basic understanding of project permitting, regulatory law, land use, and contracts.
  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Member in good standing with the Florida, New York, or another relevant state bar.
