Associate Attorney
Employment Special Counsel (EPLI) | Remote | Nationwide
An established and nationally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Special Counsel to join its growing team. This is a fully remote opportunity focused exclusively on Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) matters.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of employment litigation experience and a strong background handling workplace disputes, discrimination claims, harassment matters, retaliation claims, wage and hour litigation, and other employment-related disputes. This position offers the opportunity to work with sophisticated clients and a collaborative team of employment law practitioners across the country.
Responsibilities
- Manage and litigate EPLI matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents
- Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and case strategy discussions
- Provide practical legal advice and risk assessments to clients and insurers
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple jurisdictions on complex employment matters
- Maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality legal work product
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of employment litigation experience
- Significant experience handling EPLI-related matters preferred
- Strong legal writing, advocacy, and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload
- Licensed and in good standing in the state where you reside
- Familiarity with and openness to utilizing AI-driven and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, client service, and legal work product

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from $150,000 to $240,000
- Eligibility for performance-based bonuses
