A litigation team is seeking a Professional Liability attorney to join its Accounting-focused practice. The group handles professional liability matters involving accountants, regulatory investigations, and commercial litigation for businesses, banks, and financial institutions. They also serve as outside General Counsel to several organizations.
This role is designed for an experienced litigator who can contribute immediately to active matters and collaborate with a high-performing team. The position offers flexibility in location and does not require a book of business, though portable clients are welcome and will be thoughtfully integrated.
Professional Liability Attorney Key Responsibilities:
- Litigate accounting malpractice and professional liability cases
- Handle regulatory matters involving financial services and oversight bodies
- Manage commercial disputes across industries
- Provide strategic counsel as outside GC to various organizations
- Collaborate with attorneys across the team to maintain high service standards
Professional Liability Attorney Qualifications:
- 7+ years of litigation experience, including accounting malpractice
- Strong background in financial services and regulatory work
- Experience with commercial litigation and client advisory
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
