Employment Litigation Associate (2-4 Years) | California
A respected and growing California-based law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of experience defending employers in a variety of workplace disputes. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team handling sophisticated employment matters for regional and national clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Defend employers in single-plaintiff and representative actions, including matters brought under California's Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents.
- Conduct and defend depositions, attend court appearances, and participate in mediations.
- Collaborate closely with partners and clients to develop litigation strategy and achieve favorable outcomes.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of employment litigation experience.
- Experience handling PAGA claims and California wage and hour matters.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience with discovery, motion practice, and client counseling.
- Active membership in the California Bar.
