Infrastructure Counsel
Our client, a leading financial guaranty insurance company, specializing in the municipal bond and infrastructure projects insurance is looking to bring on an experienced attorney with a transactional background to join its legal team, focusing on their domestic & international infrastructure finance transactions. This role will be based out of the company's New York City office on a hybrid in office schedule. On top of compensation, the company offers an industry leading benefits package.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with deal origination teams responsible for international and domestic infrastructure transactions including negotiating, structuring, and documentation
- Work alongside domestic and international credit teams to identify and structure transactions around credit related issues and others
- Assist surveillance teams on ongoing monitoring of closed transactions
- Manage and work with outside counsel
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor
- Ideally experience working in Big Law or similar
- 7 + YOE with complex infrastructure transactions
- Understanding of legal and commercial risks
- Ability to manage and prioritize issues with outside counsel
- Ability to be in New York City office on a hybrid schedule
