Join a Leading Finance Practice in Dublin
We are working with a highly regarded Irish law firm that is looking to add a talented Asset Finance Associate to its market-leading Finance team in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with between 2 and 5 years' post-qualification experience to join a team that advises a broad range of international and domestic financial institutions, lessors, lenders, investors and corporates on sophisticated financing transactions. The successful candidate will gain exposure to some of the most complex and high-profile asset finance work in the Irish market, working alongside recognised specialists on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters.
The team is particularly active across aviation and transportation finance, advising on acquisitions, leasing arrangements, secured and unsecured financings, portfolio transactions, restructurings and regulatory matters.
The Role
You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a wide variety of asset finance transactions, including:
- Aircraft and transportation asset financings
- Leasing and operating lease arrangements
- Acquisition and structured financings
- Cross-border lending transactions
- Refinancing and restructuring matters
- Security and collateral documentation
- Corporate and commercial aspects of asset-backed transactions
This role offers significant client contact, early responsibility and the opportunity to work directly with leading international financial institutions and asset owners on cutting-edge transactions.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified solicitor with 2-5 years' PQE
- Have experience in asset finance, banking & finance, aviation finance or structured finance
- Demonstrate strong technical drafting and analytical skills
- Be commercially minded with excellent communication abilities
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative and high-performing team
- Have a genuine interest in developing a long-term career in finance and asset finance
