REMOTE Paralegal - Boutique Securities Firm
We are currently partnered with a fully remote Boutique Securities firm that is actively looking to bring on a Paralegal to join their dynamic team. This firm offers best in class Comliance consultancy services to a variety of clients in the financial services sector. They are currently partnered with over 100 clients across Private Equity, Real Estate, and Venture Capital nationally, and have been growing exponentially over the last year.
This Firm is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal who will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in supporting the company and it's clients while having a clear path for career growth and advancement within the company. Responsibilities:
- Assist with drafting, preparing, reviewing and filing of Form ADV 1, Form PF, and other SEC required filings.
- Manage the organization, preparation and production of documents for clients' SEC examinations.
- Oversee and administer anti-money laundering review on behalf of clients.
- Lead new client onboardings and related internal operational processes.
- Support ongoing projects and deliverables both internally and externally, including any follow-up communications as needed.
- Monitor and analyze emerging regulatory developments and rulemakings that impact the organization and its clients.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of prior experience in a legal, compliance, audit or risk management role, preferably in a financial services or regulatory environment, such as a law firm, compliance consultant and/or investment management firm.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of compliance frameworks, regulatory requirements and industry best practices, especially as related to the Advisers Act and other associated regulations.
- Experience working with private funds (e.g., 3(c)(1) and 3(c)(7) funds), particularly private equity funds and/or real estate private equity funds preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required
