Job Title: APAC Legal - ISDA Negotiator (Assistant Vice President)


About the Role

We're looking for an experienced legal professional to join APAC Legal team as an ISDA Negotiator. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of derivatives documentation and regulatory frameworks, who can provide legal guidance and manage risk across the region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and review ISDA and other derivatives-related agreements.
  • Provide legal advice on regulatory compliance, risk, and transactional matters.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments across APAC and assess their impact.
  • Draft and review legal documents (e.g., loan and security agreements).
  • Represent the bank in legal proceedings and regulatory investigations.
  • Deliver training and guidance to internal teams on legal and compliance topics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal strategy with business goals.

What We're Looking For

  • Legal background with experience in ISDA/derivatives documentation.
  • Strong understanding of APAC regulatory environments.
  • Ability to manage complex legal issues and provide clear, actionable advice.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, global financial institution.
  • Leadership qualities or ability to guide and mentor team members.
