The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Corporate Paralegal / Legal Operations Associate to join their Atlanta‑based legal team. This is a hands‑on role supporting entity management, corporate compliance, and legal operations in a rapidly scaling renewable energy environment. The position is hybrid, with flexibility to work remotely while remaining available to be in the Atlanta office two to three days per week as business needs require.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle entity management, including formations, foreign qualifications, renewals, franchise taxes, and UCC lien filings
- Maintain and update the corporate entity management database with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Oversee state and local business license registrations and property tax filings
- Support the General Counsel with Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) analysis and required filings
- Draft and maintain corporate governance documents, resolutions, and operating agreements
- Coordinate real estate and legal document recording through Simplifile
- Serve as a cross‑functional liaison between Legal, Accounting, HR, and Land teams
- Communicate effectively with regulators, registered agents, and internal stakeholders
