Complex Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Handle depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
- Develop case strategy and participate in risk assessments and settlement negotiations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidance
- Ensure timely reporting and documentation throughout the litigation process
Complex Litigation Attorney Qualifications:
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Licensed in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 8+ years of defense litigation experience (e.g., personal injury, general liability, transportation)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage complex matters independently
- Trial experience and legal project management are a plus
