Complex Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
  • Handle depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
  • Develop case strategy and participate in risk assessments and settlement negotiations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidance
  • Ensure timely reporting and documentation throughout the litigation process

Complex Litigation Attorney Qualifications:

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Licensed in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 8+ years of defense litigation experience (e.g., personal injury, general liability, transportation)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex matters independently
  • Trial experience and legal project management are a plus
