Commercial Business Litigation Attorney
My Client is seeking a highly qualified litigation associate to join their Los Angeles office. This is a unique opportunity to work on some of the most sophisticated and high-profile commercial litigation matters in the country.
Key Qualifications:
2-5 years of commercial litigation experience
Excellent academic credentials and strong law school performance
Exceptional writing and analytical skills
Demonstrated leadership and initiative
Admission to the California Bar preferred (but not required initially)
Judicial clerkship experience strongly encouraged, but not required
Relevant Litigation Experience May Include:
Intellectual property
Securities
Privacy and data breach matters
Class actions
Business torts and contract disputes
Professional liability (e.g., attorney malpractice)
Internal investigations and white collar criminal defense
Environmental, health care, high tech, media & entertainment, products liability
Ideal Candidate Traits:
Strong brief-writing and legal research capabilities
Hands-on experience with pre-trial work, discovery, investigations, depositions, and/or trial preparation
Entrepreneurial approach to practice-building
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Role Responsibilities:
Drafting and arguing motions
Preparing witnesses and leading depositions
Managing discovery and document review
Formulating and executing litigation strategy
Leading or assisting with investigations
