Our client, a nationally recognized litigation firm known for aggressive advocacy, strategic thinking, and commitment to excellence, is looking to expand their General Liability team with an Associate with at least 3 years of experience. With offices from coast to coast, this firm represents a diverse client base in complex civil litigation matters, including general liability, professional liability, product liability, and insurance defense.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Liability Associate to join our dynamic litigation team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of general liability matters, including premises liability, construction accidents, property damage, and personal injury defense.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of litigation, from inception through trial or settlement.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Attend court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Collaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategies.
- Maintain timely and accurate reporting to clients and insurance carriers.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in [Insert State]; additional admissions a plus.
- 3+ years of general liability or civil litigation experience.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
- Experience with case management software and billing systems preferred.
